| The Mike Thrush -and -Ryan Patch-coached Pacific Soccer Club GU-14 and Region 41 AYSO (Laguna Niguel) representative team won the 2009 Wolfpack Invitational Soccer Tournament. Pacific SC won their four-team bracket against Wolfpack White, PVSC Exiles and Freedom FC White, but not without incurring injuries that limited their options for the Championship game. Pacific SC went on to the championship game where they played previously unbeaten CFC Elite (three wins in bracket play). CFC Elite played a physical game but Pacific SC won the game 2-1. During the tournament the team scored nine goals while giving up four. The team next plays in the Slammers Tournament this coming weekend. |
